Hi, my name is Ryan! I hold a Master of Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia.
Over the past five years, I have worked with children and youth in both therapeutic and recreational settings as an Adaptive Recreation Programmer, Personal Support Worker, and Camp Leader. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of how children learn, play, and engage in meaningful activities. As an Occupational Therapist, I can work with your child and family to develop and strengthen skills in areas such as self-care (eating, dressing, toileting), emotional and sensory regulation, executive functioning, fine and gross motor abilities, and other everyday activities that are important to them.
I am dedicated to creating play-based, goal-oriented sessions that are tailored to each child’s unique strengths and interests. I value culturally responsive and family-centred care, and strive to foster a safe and collaborative environment where children and families feel supported in working toward their goals.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing sports such as basketball and running, spending time with family and friends, travelling, and trying out new things.
