Hi! I’m Caitlin (she/her), an occupational therapist with a Master of Occupational Therapy and Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia.
I’m passionate about working in pediatrics and have over five years of experience working and volunteering with children and youth across a variety of ages and settings. My experience includes supporting autistic children and youth in both group and one-on-one settings, with a focus on building social connections, developing fine and gross motor skills through play, and supporting executive functioning in academic and community environments.
As an occupational therapist, I value taking the time to understand what is meaningful to each child and family and working together toward goals that are important in their everyday lives. This may include supporting sensory and emotional regulation, self-care skills such as eating, dressing, and toileting, fine and gross motor development, or executive functioning. I take a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach and believe in working with children and families, meeting them where they’re at, and finding practical strategies that fit naturally into their daily routines.
Outside of work, you can find me running, reading a good book, going on walks with friends and family, or eating ice cream!
